Karisa Brookshire

Lamar, Colorado

Karisa is a self-taught artist

who grew up on a farm and ranch in Southeast Colorado. As a young girl, she loved her horses and drawing them.

Karisa still farms and ranches

today and loves to run barrels as her favorite hobby.

She only decided to pick up a pencil again

in recent years.

With winters being cold and days short, she decided to pass the time by sketching.

Karisa uses her God given talent to illustrate the beauty of farm and ranch life.

Holly Walter

Buena Vista, Colorado

I love painting the natural world. I enjoy the challenge of capturing the texture of fur, creating the color and sheen of feathers and finding the expressive soul in the eyes of an animal, this is what keeps me intrigued. I have a degree in Advertising Design, but my passion is in painting. I am self taught in watercolor, oils, and acrylics. Besides my two beautiful daughters, wildlife is one of my favorite parts of creation and I love watching animals in their natural habitat.

My work is in many Private Collections.
